Matt Kilts
CEO / Co-Owner
I started working in the production department at Trace Minerals when I was 16 years old and my passion for Trace Minerals was born. A few years later I took a position as one of the first sales representatives and I loved selling our amazing products to health food stores across the country because I knew how much they helped me and countless others whose testimonials I had read.
In 1999, after working for Trace Minerals for several years, Scott Perkes and I combined our resources and purchased Trace Minerals. We had a vision for the company and saw the monumental growth potential that it had. We began strategically launching and marketing new and innovative products and we’re proud to say that in the first 10 years of ownership, we grew the company over 1600%! Today, we are proud to offer over 160 products to countries across the world!
I like to be active in my community and have served as a Board Member of Education First Credit Union for the past 20 years. In my free time, I love being in the outdoors and travelling with my wife and 5 children.

I started working in the sales department at Trace Minerals when I was 21 years old. Matt Kilts and I met at Weber State College and became best friends and he helped me get a job at Trace Minerals. That’s when my passion for Trace Minerals was born. I loved selling our amazing products to health food stores across the country. I started taking our products when I got the sales position and I immediately felt the difference they made in my life.
