Trace Minerals is a brand I've been familiar with for awhile now. When I heard about their Shilajit Honey Sticks, I was SO excited! Shilajit is a supplement I started incorporating into my routine this past year. It has a HUGE range of benefits, but my main reason for use is its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. As any shilajit user will tell you, it is definitely an acquired taste. It has a very rich, deep, earthy dirt flavor to it. Combining the product with honey is truly a genius idea, especially in preportioned sticks. This allows for you to get a consistent dose every time, and makes for the shilajit to be a lot more palatable than on its own. I love the convenience of these and choose them regularly over the traditional jar and spoon method. I believe this is a high quality shilajit, and I absolutely trust this brand! I wasn’t sure what to expect with these Shilajit honey sticks, but I’ve got to say—I'm really impressed. Right off the bat, the taste was much better than I imagined. The honey is smooth and natural, and it completely masks the strong, earthy flavor of raw Shilajit, which I’ve struggled with in the past. The initial taste was earthy (reminiscent of what I imagine a campfire would taste like), a gritty melt in your mouth texture and sweet from the honey. It was very different initially so I opted instead to add it to a warm tea during the day and eventually transitioned back to solely the honey sticks. I *loved* how easy they were to put in my purse on the go and held up well without spilling or seeping. The honey definitely makes it more palatable but if you are not used to earthy tastes just beware - the first few tries might be a bit much which is why I recommend adding it to tea to dilute it a bit. Overall I didn't notice much of an energy difference until about midway through the first week and I do believe these work better over time - not like an energy drink where you are energized within the hour but also crash. There was no need to wean off either which was nice and more indicative that they are not addictive in any way. I did also notice these helped to regulate my hormones a bit (after about the 3rd week) and it helped stabilize my mood which was definitely an added perk. I have read that Shalajit can help boost testosterone so maybe my hormone stabilizing was due to this (as I tend to be estrogen dominant) but I have no way to confirm conclusively without testing. I will say however some supplements recommended by my doctor do have Shilajit and I'd MUCH rather take it in these honey sticks vs a capsule! My only criticism was I'd love for these to be heavy metals tested just for my personal reassurance. But overall I'd recommend as they did increase my energy levels, helped stabilize my hormones a bit over time and they work better (in my opinion) than mineral drops plus the concise package made it easy to consistently take one and be done for the day!

I’ve really come to enjoy these Shilajit honey sticks and will definitely continue using them. At first, I didn’t like the taste at all and honestly thought I’d stick with Shilajit tablets.
