Company Continues to Expand its Line of Liquimins™
OGDEN, UTAH, October 2, 2006 — Trace Minerals Research, a leading provider of mineral-based supplements for more than 35 years, will be launching ActivJoint, a bone and joint support powdered drink mix at the Natural Products Expo East tradeshow and conference being held October 4 – 7, 2006, in Baltimore, Md. ActivJoint contains 1200 mg of glucosamine, which research has shown strengthens normal joint structure and promotes joint comfort and mobility, 500 mg of chrondroitin, which works synergistically with glucosamine to supply cartilage with the vital building blocks needed to stay supple and healthy, as well as 300 mg of MSM, a natural sulfur compound the body needs to maintain joint lubrication and flexibility.
“ActivJoint is a conveniently packaged drink mix that offers consumers a great tasting way to support bones, joints and ligaments before, during and after strenuous activity,” stated Matt Kilts, partner, Trace Minerals Research. “We developed our Liquimins line to offer individuals who have difficulty taking supplements in a pill form some unique alternatives, and ActivJoint is great addition to this growing line of products.”
A box of ActivJoint contains 30 individual serving sized packets of mix that can be added to four to six ounces of water to create a tangerine flavored drink. As with all Trace Minerals Research products, ActivJoint includes ConcenTrace®, a proprietary ionic complex containing more than 70 essential and trace minerals extracted from Utah’s Great Salt Lake. ActivJoint has a suggested retail price of $28.97.
Also at Expo East, Trace Minerals Research will be introducing a grape flavored version of its Electrolyte Stamina Power Pak, a high performance energy drink mix with no caffeine, artificial stimulants or artificial ingredients. The Electrolyte Stamina Power Pak contains key electrolytes including potassium, magnesium, chloride and sodium, as well as high amounts of vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals.
