Leticia Ras-Anderica was born in Alicante, Spain, to a German mother and English/Spanish father and grew up as a native speaker of all three languages.
She hit her first golf ball at the age of four. Like so many other children, she followed in her parents´ footsteps and found competing against them (and beating them) fun.
There were two things she was always quite good at: art and sport. She attended High School in Spain, finished the British Curriculum and went to College at the University of Miami, Florida, USA on a full scholarship where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with 120 credits in 2015 when she was 20 years old. During her four years at the University of Miami, she played for the women’s golf team.
Leticia turned pro in September 2015 and obtained her full card in the Ladies European Tour and the Chinese LPGA. Since 2015 she has also been a member of the Asian Tour, Taiwan LPGA Tour, and Symetra Tour. She is currently a playing member of the LPGA, Ladies European Tour, and Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour.
Education & Certifications
Recently, health and fitness have become core interests for Leticia and she started working with Laurence Lestang, who is a biologist and nutritionist and herself an accomplished athlete competing in Ironman triathlons! Leticia is changing her approach to nutrition since being away from home for so long makes it difficult to follow a healthy diet. She has enrolled in a nutrition course to acquire a better understanding of how nutrition and health can make her a better golf professional.
