SPINS DATA SHOWS TRACE MINERALS RESEARCH GAINING MORE MARKET SHARE IN THE NATURAL CHANNEL

OGDEN, UTAH, May 4, 2011—The Trace Minerals Research (TMR) brand gained almost three percent market share in the natural products channel within the trace mineral category in just nine months according to research data compiled by SPINS, an information research and consulting company who specializes in the natural products industry in the US market.

The data collected by SPINS shows that from May 2010 to February 2011, TMR gained an additional 2.6 percent of market share in the trace mineral category in natural products supermarkets across the United States, a category in which it already owned nearly 90 percent of market share in the natural channel. Of 24 total brands that sell trace mineral products, the next closest brand owns just over two percent of current dollar share and is not an ionic trace mineral.
