Company Recognized for Strong Growth in 2006

OGDEN, UTAH, February, 2007 — Trace Minerals Research, a leading provider of mineral-based supplements for more than 35 years, was awarded a bronze medal in the growth in small supplement companies category by the Nutrition Business Journal. The NBJ Business Achievement Awards recognize companies for their distinguished achievements in various business categories within the natural products industry. Awards will be presented in a special ceremony at the NBJ Newport Summit, July 18 – 20, 2007, in Laguna Niguel, Calif.

In 2006, Trace Minerals Research saw a 42 percent growth in sales over 2005. The company also greatly increased the number of their products carried at major national health food stores such as Wild Oats and Whole Foods by more than 50 percent.
